Check out what you missed if you were unable to attend.

Unity Council hosted a public Assembly for all employee groups on campus. Speakers discussed issues such as the University’s claims of a budget crisis, the hiring freeze, cuts to core academic programs, looming layoffs, prolonged periods of understaffing, increased workloads, loss of real-wages, and the very real, cost of living crisis, to name a few.

Strategy is for all employees to come together this upcoming round of bargaining, with a coordinated approach, to secure better wages and working terms & conditions, on a campus wide level.
